Hello, I’m Tim Green.  

The whole of my recruitment career has focused on the commercial property sector (which has always and continues to fascinate me). There aren’t many recruiters who have worked in such a niche area of specialism for so long.

Having recruited senior finance professionals for the commercial real estate sector since 1997, I’ve successfully completed hundreds of assignments.

Professional background

I founded Tim Green Executive Search in 2013. Don’t worry if you haven’t heard of me before. The overwhelming majority of my work is referred to me by word of mouth, so I haven’t needed to do much marketing or profile-raising.

In my early career, I was tasked with setting up, building, and leading the property team for one of the country’s largest independent financial recruitment businesses. This team become one of the companies most successful divisions, and I was regularly a top-three biller company-wide during my 11-year tenure.

Outside work

Recruiting is a people business. Here are some of the things you might be interested to know about me. I spend half my time in London, but my family base is in North Norfolk. Renovating and maintaining our property keeps me busy outside work. From our home, it’s not far to the Norfolk Broads where I enjoy sailing, the North Norfolk coast for beach walks, and Burnham Market (where the Royals go shopping for hats apparently).

I’m an amateur but enthusiastic golfer. The same applies to my tennis. And you can often find me on a beach or the countryside with my Bedlington whippet, muttering: “Where the hell has that dog gone now!” as she zips towards the horizon at 35mph.

Because my work is so intensive, I undertake a maximum of three searches at a time. By focusing my attention like this, you’ll get more chance of a speedy result.
